Abstract
Based on the results of observations on February 9 2023 at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu, is a school that has implemented an independent curriculum program by making religious moral character education one of the programs implemented in the school. This research aims to (1). Describe the school's readiness in implementing the Pancasila student profile. Elements of religious morals in Class 4 of Muhammadiyah 4 Batu Elementary School (2). Describe the school's obstacles in implementing the Pancasila student profile. Elements of religious morals at Muhammadiyah 4 Batu Elementary School (3).
This research uses qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach. The school principal, deputy head of student affairs and class 4 teacher were chosen as data sources. Data collection methods in this research were observation, interviews and documentation.
From the results of research that has been carried out by the school in an effort to implement the profile of Pancasila students (religious focus) in class 4 at Muhammadiyah 4 Batu Elementary School, it has been good by implementing several activities including the habit of reading short surahs before entering class, implementing obligatory prayers and sunnah at school, cultivating noble qualities. . Even though there are still obstacles in its implementation, the author appreciates this activity. The distribution of breakfast after morning prayers in congregation was good and conducive, but the researchers found that there were several students who did not finish their food, therefore the researchers felt the need for additional education for students regarding the prohibition of throwing away food (wasteful).
