Abstract
This research aims to see the effectiveness and implementation of PT Petrokimia Gresik's Mangare Discovery program. The Mangare Discovery program in Tanjung Widoro village is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of PT Petrokimia Gresik which focuses on improving the quality of the coastal environment with mangrove restoration activities which can reduce the impact of coastal erosion. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with an interview and documentation process. The research results show that the level of effectiveness is quite different between 2022 and 2023, which affects the amount of the budget allocated in the current year. In 2022 all activities can be carried out well, but the use of the budget is still not fully effective, whereas in 2023 all activities can be carried out well and the realization of budget use will be better than the previous year. In the implementation of activities, there are 2 planting support activities, namely Oyster Castel (OC) and Hybrid Engineering (HE), each of which helps in planting and acts as a sea air wave breaker. This program has a positive impact on the environment, social and economy.
