Abstract
Feasibility studies play a crucial role in analyzing the potential for business development, including in the vehicle rental sector. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of adding vehicles to Ismu Rent Car in Singosari District, Malang Regency, using a financial approach. The feasibility study focuses on investment analysis using the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP) methods to assess the potential return on investment and business sustainability. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, with data collected through interviews and documentation of the company's financial reports. The findings indicate that adding three operational vehicles is necessary to meet the increasing rental demand. Financial analysis shows that the NPV is positive, the IRR exceeds the cost of capital, and the Payback Period is shorter than the economic life of the vehicles, making the investment feasible. Additionally, non-financial aspects such as market conditions and operational strategies support long-term business sustainability. This study provides recommendations for vehicle rental business operators in planning business expansion based on a comprehensive investment feasibility analysis
