Abstract

Technology can help the public to obtain information and be able to bring up new insights about financial management. Investment is a commitment for someone to place a number of funds in the hope of obtaining a profit. Investment is also known as investors. The population in this study is the millennial generation in Malang City with a sample of 100 respondents using a purposive sampling approach. This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of financial literacy on investment decisions. (2) determine the effect of financial technology on investment decisions. (3) determine the effect of social media on investment decisions. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The analytical method used is path analysis with the SPSS 26 tool. The results of this research are 1) financial literacy has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. (2) financial technology has a significant positive effect on investment decisions. (3) social media has a significant positive effect on investment decisions.
