Abstract
In today's era, learning Arabic is becoming increasingly important in the context of education for Muslim communities. Because Arabic is not only a language used in practicing Islam, but it is also an important tool for accessing knowledge in various texts, literature, and Islamic religious culture. Santichon Islamic School is a school that aims to instill religious values and develop Arabic language skills in students. Facing the problem of student learning who sometimes lack motivation or enthusiasm in learning Arabic. This factor can be influenced by many factors, such as the teacher's teaching method, the content used in teaching, or even the teaching environment that does not support motivation.
This study aims to study and analyze the strategies used by teachers to motivate students in learning Arabic at Santichon Islamic School in Thailand and this study uses a qualitative approach. The teacher and student interview forms include factors that influence the success of the strategy. This study will provide guidelines for developing appropriate Arabic teaching methods for the context of Islamic schools in Thailand and encourage students to be more enthusiastic and determined in learning Arabic.
