Abstract

Administratively, the pond that is the location of the study is situated in Keboireng Village, Besuki District, Tulungagung Regency. In this study location, the existing condition of the coastal area, which is hilly, poses a challenge in determining whether the water can flow properly. In general, the ponds managed by the community are not based on thorough planning and have not met the required standards for ponds. Given these issues, this study was conducted to assess the water flow rate, water supply requirements, and irrigation network planning for vannamei shrimp ponds in Besuki Village. To achieve this, it is necessary to conduct an analysis of rainfall data, evaporation calculations, water supply requirements for the ponds, and planning the dimensions of the irrigation and drainage channels. The results obtained from this study are the dimensions of the settling pond, which have a length of 44 m, a width of 17 m, and a depth of 3 m. The treatment reservoir has a length of 40 m, a width of 14.91 m, and a depth of 3 m. The irrigation water requirement is 0.206 m³/s, and the drainage water discharge is 0.016 m³/s. The irrigation channel is rectangular in shape with a channel bottom slope of 0.0002 and a channel bottom width ranging from 0.3 m to 0.64 m. Meanwhile, the drainage channel is trapezoidal with a slope of 1:1 and a channel bottom slope of 0.0002, with a channel bottom width ranging from 0.20 m to 0.8 m.
