Abstract
Communication is an essential component of human life. Interpersonal communication plays a crucial role in both human interactions and corporate institutions. If an organization serves as a platform for individuals with shared interests and goals, and if its activities require division of labor to achieve organizational objectives, effective communication among its members becomes necessary. This study aims to describe the function of organizational communication in KPMKP Malang Branch and the methods used to enhance the capacity of KPMKP members in Malang.
This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. The primary sources of information are the members of KPMKP Malang Branch. Data collection methods include documentation, interviews, and observation. Data analysis is conducted through pattern matching, data explanation, and time-series analysis. Data validity is ensured using triangulation techniques.
The findings indicate that organizational communication plays a vital role in KPMKP Malang Branch, serving not only as a channel for disseminating information but also as a catalyst for fostering relationships among members, coordinating activities, and aligning individual goals with organizational objectives. Additionally, KPMKP Malang Branch enhances its members' capacity through several key approaches. Regular training programs and workshops that involve active communication between members and mentors serve as the primary means of skill development. Routine sharing sessions and discussions create a community of practice that supports collaborative learning
