Abstract

This research was conducted to overcome the problems that occur by creating an online-based information and reporting system. The Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) development method was chosen in order to build applications effectively and efficiently. The use of this method is expected to be able to develop the system quickly and in accordance with the wishes of the user or user. The process of developing this application begins with conducting a needs analysis through observation and interviews with users. The results of the interview were then used as user stories which obtained 7 user stories from the data mining. After obtaining the user story, mapping of which needs are included in Must Have, Should Have, Could Have, and Wont Have began. Then enter the iteration development stage where this begins to build the application at this stage there are three steps, namely code, refactor and unit testing. After completing this stage, system testing will be carried out to test whether the system is in accordance or not with what the user wants. the results of this study indicate that the PXP method is successfully applied properly because system development is completed in accordance with the estimated time or story point specified.
