Abstract

Technological advances have driven the development of information systems aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness in various fields, including education. Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang has launched the MYUMM Library website as a digital library platform, designed to facilitate access to its digital collections. This study aims to evaluate the usability level of the MYUMM Library website using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method and the Think Aloud approach. The evaluation results show that the SUS score of this website is 57.44, which is included in the "Ok" category, with a grade of F and an acceptability range in the marginal low category. This indicates that although the website is acceptable to users, the level of acceptance is still low. To explore usability issues, the Think Aloud approach was applied, resulting in 14 relevant recommendations for improvement. These recommendations are expected to provide guidance for developers in improving the quality and comfort of users when accessing the website. Thus, this study not only provides an overview of the current usability conditions, but also offers concrete steps to support better management of digital collections in the future
