Abstract
Problem: The Examination Information System is a platform used as a tool to conduct exams using information technology. The system is utilized by SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Tulungagung as a means for administering school exams for its students. Based on observational studies and interviews with users, it was found that the Examination Information System still has several issues and shortcomings, such as a display that is not compatible with smartphones since it is still desktop-based, along with other drawbacks like uncomfortable features. To improve the system's quality, a positive experience is needed, both in terms of ease of use and comfort. Method: The method used is the HEART framework, which encompasses five aspects: Happiness, Engagement, Adoption, Retention, and Task Success. This method is considered suitable for evaluating user experience in the examination information system, as it takes the user's perspective as the primary focus, considering their needs, behavior, and expectations. A questionnaire was distributed to 170 respondents, consisting of 20 questions. The data obtained was processed to determine the level of usability. Results: The results of this study indicate that the Happiness variable shows a very high level of usability. Meanwhile, the Engagement, Adoption, Retention, and Task Success variables show a high level of usability. Conclusion: The results of this research suggest that the Examination Information System has successfully created a high level of user experience and satisfaction. However, further development of the system is necessary to provide an even better user experience.
