Abstract
This study aims to determine the characteristics and models of Arabic textbooks for grade VII of Junior High School IIBS Al-Izzah Batu East Java reviewed from the cognitive realm of bloom taxonomy. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is literature research. The data collection techniques used are in the form of interviews and documentation. The results of this study are based on the characteristics of Arabic books for grade VII when viewed from socio-cultural aspects, psychological aspects, and linguistic aspects, showing that the book already covers these three aspects. As for the cognitive realm of bloom's taxonomy theory calculated using the Guttman scale, it was found that the C-1 qualification considering that with a percentage of 100% was considered very good, the C-2 qualification understood with a percentage of 83% was considered very good, the C-3 qualification applied with a percentage of 100% was considered very good, the C-4 qualification analyzed with a percentage of 66% was considered poor, the C-5 qualification evaluated with a percentage of 100% was considered very good, The C-6 qualification creates with a percentage of 0% is considered very lacking.
