Abstract

One way to deal the independent curriculum is to be creative in choosing learning tools such as teaching materials, learning media and other learning aids. One of the learning aids that can be used to make students more active is LKPD. LKPD is a student activity sheet which contains a summary of material, problems, problem solving steps with a an attravtive appearance so as to reduce students’ feelings of boredom during the learning process. The characteristics of elementary school students are that they are active and like to play. The problem experienced is the lack of understanding of students in science subjects. The LKPD used by teachers is LKPD in a simple form so that it makes students feel bored and makes students’ analytical power weaken and there is a lack of students activity during the learning process. Therefore, this research aims to describe the development of problem-based student activity sheets. Based learning science content material on the styles around us in grade IV elementary school.
This research uses data collection techniques which are carried out using interview, observation, documentation and questionnaire techniques. Then the analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques and in the final stage of developing the student activity sheet, students have passed material validation tests and LKPD validation by filling in a questionnaire. The questionnaire was used as a reference in improving the development of students activity sheets. The research will be carried out in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The data sources in this research are class IV teacher and class IV elementary school students.
The results of research on the development of student activity sheets based on problem based learning, social science content, style material around us in class IV elementary school, namely producing LKPD that can be accessed offline and online. LKPD development is carried out using the ADDIE model, namely analysis, planning, development, implementation and evaluation. The development of PBL-based LKPD with IPAS contents regarding the forces around us has gone through a validation process to assess the validity and suitability of the product with a percentage obtained from material experts of 90% while LKPD experts obtained 88,3%. To strengthen the results of this effectiveness, student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires were carried out.
