Abstract
Background : In 2020, it was estimated that 19 million deaths (37%) worldwide were caused by cardiovascular diseases. Coronary Artery Disease is caused by the buildup of plaque in the coronary arteries, leading to obstructed blood flow and the formation of atherosclerosis. Acetosal as an antiplatelet therapy is the mainstay pharmacological treatment to reduce platelet aggregation and prevent thrombus formation.
Objective : To determine the pattern of Asetosal use in coronary heart disease patients, including dosage, route, frequency, combination, and duration of administration at RSI Aisyiyah Malang.
Method : This research is observational or non-experimental in nature with a qualitative method based on the retrospective data collection of coronary heart disease patients from January to December 2023.
Results and Coclucsions : The most common pattern of Single Therapy usage is Asetosal (1x80 mg) po in 6 patients (5%). The most common pattern of Combination Therapy 2 usage is Asetosal (1x80 mg) po + Clopidogrel (1x75 mg) po in 54 patients (55%). The most commonly used Combination Therapy 3 is Asetosal (1x320 mg) po + Clopidogrel (1x300 mg) po + Ticagrelor (1x180 mg) po in 6 patients (60%). There are a total of 42 switch patterns.
