Abstract
Background: Fracture problems can changes in Bio-Psycho-Spiritual because there are musculoskeletal disorders that impact daily activities. These changes certainly require a good adaptation process in patients with fractures to change maladaptive behavior to adaptive in order to improve the patient's health status. For this reason, this final scientific work aims to analyze cases of management of patients with closed left humerus fractures using the Roy Adaptation Model theoretical approach.
Method: The research method used in preparing this Final Scientific Work uses a case study report. The author follows the scientific method according to the rules of the Nursing Process which includes: Assessment, Data Analysis, Nursing Diagnosis, Nursing Intervention, Nursing Implementation, and Evaluation. In the assessment process, the author used various data collection techniques such as Anamnesis, Observation, Documentation Study and Physical Examination to collected data from patients, namely Mrs. N.
Results: After providing nursing care for 4 consecutive days, the author raised 5 nursing diagnoses, namely: Acute Pain, Skin Integrity Disorders, Physical Mobility Disorders, Knowledge Deficit About Worshiping When Sick, and Risk of Infection. Of the 5 Nursing Diagnoses, 1 Nursing Diagnosis was resolved and 4 Nursing Diagnoses were partially resolved.
Conclussion: Nursing care using the Roy Adaptation Model approach can be applied to nursing care for fracture patients, because it meets all aspects of patient needs comprehensively including physiological needs, self-concept, adaptation and interdependence.
