Abstract
Background : The head of the room has a role in providing direction which is a guideline for nurses in their work so that nurses are more focused in carrying out patient handovers. Errors that occur when delivering a handover during a shift change can have a negative impact on reducing service quality indicators. Where is one The benchmark for the quality of health services is patient satisfaction.
Objective : Identify and explain the role of leadership in the successful
implementation of acceptance considerations and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room.
Method: This research used quantitative descriptive research methods with an observation approach, interviews related to the implementation of nurses' weigh�ins, and distributed questionnaires to 22 patients to determine the level of patient satisfaction in the Pangandaran Room at Dr. Regional General Hospital. Saiful Anwar on 19 August-7 September 2024
Results : Based on the results of observations, the implementation of the weigh-in in the room was good, namely 86.95% in accordance with the room's SOP. With the leadership role of the disciplined head of the room as one of the influences in the successful implementation of the consideration. So this also affects patient satisfaction in the room, which is based on the results of analysis regarding patient satisfaction indicators which consist of 5 domains, namely tangibles, reliability,
responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy The results showed that the majority of respondents answered that they were satisfied with the service and care provided while they were being treated.
Conclusion : This research shows that there is a leadership role in the successful implementation of consideration which can also influence patient satisfaction in a room.
