Abstract
The research and development of TEKIRITA (Teka-Teki Mari Bercerita - Puzzles Let's Tell a Story) have been motivated by the results of a needs analysis conducted at State Elementary School Gesang 02, Grade IV. During learning activities, students often appeared bored and lacked enthusiasm due to the insufficient availability of adequate learning media, especially in Indonesian language learning involving writing skills. It was observed that some students faced difficulties in writing, particularly in composing short stories. This issue arose from the lack of teaching media and incomplete coverage of short story materials that had not been fully explored. The solution to the problem was to create TEKIRITA (Teka-Teki Mari Bercerita) learning media for Indonesian language learning that involved writing skills. This research aimed to determine the feasibility of the development process of TEKIRITA (Teka-Teki Mari Bercerita) media for short story materials.
This study was a research and development using the ADDIE development model, which consisted of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research was conducted at State Elementary School Gesang 02 Lumajang with Grade IV students as the research subjects, located at Sumber Agung Street No 03, Gesang, Tempeh District, Lumajang Regency, East Java Province. The research instruments included observation, interviews, expert material validation questionnaires, expert media validation questionnaires, and responses from teachers and students. The data collected were analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
The research results indicate that the TEKIRITA (Teka-Teki Mari Bercerita) media is suitable for use in learning. This is evident from the expert material validation, with a percentage of 83.3%, and expert media validation, with a percentage of 81%. The appeal of this media can be seen in student responses, which obtained a percentage of 95.5%, and teacher response questionnaires, with a percentage of 86.6%. The obtained data results show that the TEKIRITA (Teka-Teki Mari Bercerita) media is feasible and appealing for use as a learning media in Indonesian language learning, particularly in the context of structured short story materials.
