Abstract

Salmonella typhi is a gram-negative, rod-shaped bacterium that is the main cause of typhoid fever (Azzahra et al., 2019). The use of antibiotics is known to cause various side effects, (Raini, 2016). One effort to improve the quality of learning is to pay attention to various supporting aspects, including the provision of quality books (Alkatiri, 2012). This is in line with the objectives of the Biology Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Maumere, it is important to have reference books that integrate applications in the IPTEKS approach. The type of research used is true experimental research (True Experimental Research). The research design used in this study is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). This exp
