Abstract

The industry is growing rapidly year by year, especially in the MSME sector, where many people have started businesses, with most of them producing bottled beverages. The growth of the industry is also in line with the development of technology, which enables the creation of an automatic filling and capping system to support the production process in MSMEs. The development of this automatic filling and capping system is an important process in the beverage industry to achieve more efficient and accurate products. This bottle filling and capping system will use a PLC as its control center, with CX-Programmer as the programming language. The PLC will receive input from proximity sensors to detect the presence of bottles, which will then be processed using ladder diagrams. After that, the PLC will provide output to the connected devices. This system consists of four parts: conveyor, bottle filling, cap placement, and sealing. It is expected that by optimizing the control system for bottle filling and capping using PLC, MSME beverage companies will experience increased production efficiency, cost savings, and improved product quality overall, as well as strengthen their competitiveness in the competitive market.
