Abstract

The need for electrical energy for mankind today has a very important role. Along with that, the need for electrical energy is increasing. With the increasing need for electrical energy, an adequate source of electrical energy is also needed. So far, the main source of energy that is converted into electrical energy comes from fossil energy sources. While the reserves of fossil fuels on earth are increasingly depleting and have a negative impact on the environment. Wind turbines are electrical energy generators that convert wind energy to produce electrical energy.

The advantage of this wind turbine is that it is a renewable power plant so it does not use oil or natural gas and is an environmentally friendly power plant. And also the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) is considered the right and feasible technology in the wind power generation industry because the PMSG is self-excited, with the presence of an inverting buck-boost converter, where the polarity of the output voltage will be opposite to the polarity of the input voltage. And also using MPPT is by increasing and decreasing the working voltage. This can be done by adjusting the converter. Large power value changes depending on the changes in voltage and current values In wind turbines, MPPT is used to optimize the maximum power output of the generator Adaptive control is able to improve the performance of complex and nonlinear wind systems for variable wind speed profiles. This goal is achieved by using the proposed AFLC gain scheduling, which tracks the MPP of the WT system.
