Abstract
This thesis is entitled The Influence of Halal Tourism in an Effort to Increase Economic Growth in West Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the impact or influence of Halal Tourism branding in improving the economy of West Nusa Tenggara. This study found that by carrying out strategies in shaping the image of halal tourism through city branding and the efforts that have been made by the government, it has an impact and influence on the tourism sector. This impact can be seen with the increase in the regional economy which shows an increase in Regional Original Income, an increase in tourism and the entry of investment into the region is able to create new jobs. In addition, it can be seen that the infrastructure is improving and the development of MSMEs in the tourism area. The research method used in this thesis is qualitative research. Data collection is carried out by library research which is obtained from secondary data (archives, journals, documents, ebooks) and added from various government websites.
