PENGEMBANGAN EKONOMI LOKAL BERBASIS EKOWISATA (Studi Pada Manahayu Holistic Farm di Desa Giripurno, Kecamatan Bumiaji Kota Batu)

Management of the ecotourism sector requires effective management, by utilizing existing natural resources and optimizing the potential of human resources. Manahayu Holistic Farm provides various facilities for community development in Giripurno Village. Through ecotourism, the Giripurno village government is determined to further advance the tourism sector in Batu City. The aim of this research is to find out and understand the consequences of local economic development in the ecotourism sector, as well as to analyze the strategies that have been implemented to develop the local economy in Giripurno Village, Batu City. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that there is a positive impact of ecotourism-based local economic development in Batu City. The positive impact felt is the creation of job opportunities and increasing people's income in Giripurno village. Through Local Economic Development in the Giripurno tourist village, individual community skills can be improved in optimizing the use of natural resources available in Giripurno village.
