Abstract
14-Week Maternity Leave Campaign led by IndustriALL Global Union Indonesia in its efforts to protect the maternity rights of female workers. The campaign aims to extend the maternity leave duration from 12 weeks to 14 weeks, aligning with the standards of ILO Convention 183. This study explores the campaign’s strategies, including policy advocacy, worker union training, information mobilization through social media, and collaboration with local unions. Although Indonesia has regulations concerning maternity leave, many female workers still face challenges such as discrimination and termination during pregnancy. IndustriALL is affiliated with various industrial unions in Indonesia and collaborates with international organizations such as the ILO and UN Women to support the implementation of fair policies. The campaign focuses not only on formal regulatory changes but also on raising social awareness about the importance of maternity protection in achieving gender equality in the workplace. Through qualitative analysis, this research provides a comprehensive view of the role of social campaigns in advancing the well-being of female workers in Indonesia.
