The Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project is a form of implementation of the independent curriculum concept in the form of project-based co-curricular learning that is applied to strengthen competencies or characters according to the Pancasila Student Profile. The dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile include faith, devotion to God Almighty, and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity. State Vocational High School 2 Madiun is one of the schools that has implemented the independent curriculum and implemented the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project. This study aims to describe how the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project at State Vocational High School 2 Madiun and the impact of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project on the Pancasila Student Profile character possessed by students.
This type of research is a descriptive qualitative field research, because the researcher directly went to the field or research location, namely at SMK Negeri 2 Madiun to observe, describe, and tell all activities related to the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project. The research subjects in this thesis are the homeroom teacher of Class X Accounting and Institutional Finance (AKL) 2, students of class X Accounting and Institutional Finance (AKL) 2, and the principal of SMK Negeri 2 Madiun. The data collection procedures are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques are data reduction, presenting data, drawing conclusions. The research instruments used are in the form of an analysis instrument for the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project planning and an analysis instrument for the impact of the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project on the character of the Pancasila Student Profile working together, thinking critically, and being creative.
From the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project at SMK Negeri 2 Madiun, it is carried out by paying attention to the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. And in its implementation, it has an impact on the character of the Pancasila Student Profile of mutual cooperation, critical thinking, and creativity. The mutual cooperation characters, it includes teamwork, , and being responsive and caring about the social environment. For critical reasoning characters, it includes analyzing problems critically and managing information to answer problems. And for creative characters, it includes producing original ideas and concepts, considering these ideas to be realized, and exploring ideas from various sources which are then poured into an original work.
