Abstract
The analysis of road damage was carried out on the section of Jalan Patimura, Batu City, East Java. Jalan Patimura is one of the Provincial Roads in the middle of the stone tourism city, which certainly causes the volume of vehicle traffic to increase every year. It was recorded that the highest volume of vehicles passing on the Patimura road section reached 35,337 vehicles in a day (Batu City ITS_Dishub, 2024). This increase results in a decrease in the ability of the road to accept the load on it. Therefore, there is a lot of damage to the road pavement. This analysis aims to find out the damage that occurs using the PCI and Highway Methods, as well as the appropriate road handling methods. The damage value on Jalan Patimura using the PCI Method was obtained at 65.57 with a Good rating, while for the Highway Method it received a score (UP) of 7.29 with a routine maintenance program. From the results of the road damage analysis, it is useful as a basis for determining handling to ensure comfort, security, and safety for road users. The method used as an alternative to handling damage on Jalan Patimura is the Highway Method, with the results of determining the handling including handling (Paving) P2, (Filling Cracks) P4, (Patching) P5. and (Leveling) P6. Each treatment refers to the type and level of damage. The overall volume of damage obtained from the analysis results was 582.81 m2 with a percentage value of 5.36%. The Cost Budget Plan (RAB) needed to handle damage to Jalan Patimura is Rp. 184,022,000.00.
