Abstract

This study examines the communication patterns within the underground music community Titik Dua Kolektif with the aim of understanding how various communication patterns are applied in problem-solving, decision-making, project execution, and casual activities. The methods used include field observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data related to communication patterns within this community. The research identifies five communication patterns applied within Titik Dua Kolektif: wheel, Y, chain, circle, and star. These communication patterns are coordinated through an equalitarian style of communication and mechanical solidarity, aligning with the collectivist values and punk principle of “equality.” The conclusion of the study shows that the principles of mutual respect and regard play a crucial role in the success of effective and sustainable communication within the community. The collective solidarity formed through the attitudes and manners of members significantly reduces conflicts and bullying, while creating an open space for social, political, and environmental aspirations and expressions. The #doitwithyourfriends activity exemplifies the positive application of punk ideology in society, avoiding negative stereotypes associated with punk and contributing constructively to the community.
