Abstract
Every project contains the potential danger of work accidents. The implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Programs is very important because it is designed to create a safe, comfortable, clean, and organized working environment, as well as to prevent work-related accidents. This final project paper focuses on the analysis of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Environmental (SMK3L) in the UPBJJ-UT Surabaya Building Construction Project Phase 2. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of K3 training, workplace health, and safety on workplace accidents, and to identify the most dominant factors contributing to workplace accidents in the UPBJJ-UT Surabaya Building Construction Project Phase 2.The method used in this study is quantitative. The population consists of 300 workers, including: masons, foremen, K3 staff, technical staff, workers, and supervisory consultants. The sample calculation method uses the Slovin technique, resulting in 75 respondents. Data collection for this study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data processing from the questionnaires utilized IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and Microsoft Excel. The results of this study indicate a positive influence with a significance value for variable (X1) training/K3 policy of 0.000, with a comparison of the calculated T value (3.766) and the T table value (1.99394). Meanwhile, the significance value for variable (X2) environmental conditions is 0.008, with a comparison of the calculated T value (2.727) and the T table value (1.99394). The significance value for variable (X3) workplace health is 0.000, with the calculated T value (4.127) being greater than the T table value (1.99394). This means that each variable has a positive and significant effect on workplace accidents, with the most dominant factor in workplace accidents found in the training/K3 variable (X1), which has a percentage score of 3,766.
