Abstract

The application of media in elementary school 3 Kucur, Malang is still very rare, especially in using technology based media. On cultural diversity material, students are less familiar with the cultural diversity of East Java. Therefore, this research aims to describe the development of onirada media (animated videos of cultural diversity) in natural and social science subjects in elementary schools.
This research is included in development research, using the ADDIE model. In the ADDIE model there are 5 stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. the test subjects involved 13 grade 4 students at elementary school 3 Kucur, Malang. The time of research is in August 2024. Data collection techniques and research instruments through interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.
Onirada media development research obtained material validity results of 84,3% and media validity of 82,5%. These results stated that the media was classified as very good. The student evaluation results obtained an average of 96,9% and were included in the KKM category. Student questionnaire responses also obtained result of 95,7% which were included in the very good category. The results of onirada development research can be used as a reference for future teaching or researchers. It can be used as encouragement to be develop better media.
