Abstract
Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) is one of the most dangerous diseases for dairy cattle in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the economic and social impacts of FMD on dairy farmers and livestock production traders (SAPRONAK) in Gunungsari Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City. The data collected includes 7 dairy farmers and 5 SAPRONAK traders, revealing that the average loss for dairy farmers is Rp 11,857,771.43, which stems from the deaths of cattle due to foot-and-mouth disease. Meanwhile, the average loss for SAPRONAK traders is approximately -11% of their normal turnover
