Abstract

The development and progress of the industrial sector are inseparable from the presence of individuals as resources who play a crucial role. This is related to the achievement of organizational goals, which of course require the direct contribution of human resources. Communication plays a role in the organization and also impacts the building of organizational culture, which is the core values and beliefs of the organization. Organizational culture is built on deeply held beliefs and values about how the organization should be run or operated. Culture is a system of values that influences how work is done and how employees behave. Furthermore, the organizational climate will affect efficiency and productivity.

This research uses a quantitative-comparative causal approach. The object of this research is PT Sakalaguna Semesta Blitar, located at Jl. Sudanco Supriadi No.16 B RT01/RW01, Kelurahan Kepanjen Lor, Kecamatan Kepanjen Kidul-Blitar 66112. Data collection started with the distribution of questionnaires to the employees of PT Sakalaguna Semesta Blitar. The data collection technique used by the researcher was a questionnaire. The researcher distributed closed-ended questionnaires containing questions aimed at gathering primary data.

Based on the research results, the regression analysis showed a t-value of 4.870. In the t-table with a significance level (α) = 5% and df = n-k-1 or df = 46, the t-table value is 1.679. Since the t-value of 4.870 > t-table value of 1.679, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect on employee work productivity. The significance value of organizational communication is 0.000 < 0.05, which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The influence of variable (X) on variable (Y) is 48%, while the remaining 52% is influenced by other variables not used in this study.
