Abstract

Mathematics studies the operation of hitting and reasoning that trains creative thinking, critical, logical, and systematic skills in solving problems. Creative thinking can make students more open and responsive with different opinions. Students' creative thinking skills can be improved through mathematics learning that has the character of structured and systematic science. Thus, it is important to know the creative thinking skills of students in order to improve students' creative thinking skills.
The approach applied in this study is a qualitative approach. This research is intended to describe and explain the purpose of the research, namely to analyze the creative thinking ability of students in solving bar diagram problems in grade IV SDN 2 Gemaharjo, Trenggalek Regency.
The results of the evaluation showed that students were able to solve problems on bar charts in detail and systematically, use a structured approach, and were able to present data clearly. This reflects that students have developed solid creative thinking skills in the context of mathematics learning. For further researchers, they can conduct long-term research to monitor the development of students' creative thinking skills over time and the long-term effects of various learning methods. Then be able to explore and evaluate new and innovative learning methods to develop and measure creative thinking skills, as well as implement the latest technology in educational research.
