SURVEI KETAHANAN PANGAN DAN GIZI RUMAH TANGGA PETERNAK SAPI PERAH PADA DUSUN BRAU DESA GUNUNGSARI KOTA BATU

In terms of meeting food needs, the nutritional quality of the food must also be met for metabolism in the human body so that humans can carry out productive activities in daily life. This research aims to determine the level of food security and nutrition of dairy farmer households in Brau Hamlet, Gunungsari Village, Batu City. The sample selection in this study used simple random sampling due to limited knowledge about the elements of population uniformity so that from a total population of 175 households, 30 households were obtained as samples or subjects of this research. This research was conducted for 7 days or 1 week, and was carried out with a cross sectional study design and used a survey with the Household Food Record questionnaire. The parameters examined in this research were Energy Adequacy Rate and Protein Adequacy Rate. The results of research on food security and nutrition of the Brau Hamlet community in terms of the Energy Adequacy Rate (EAR) and Protein Adequacy Rate (PAR), namely that in EAR the majority of respondents had EAR values below standard and there were 10 respondents with total energy intake above 2100 kcal, and In PAR, the majority of respondents had PAR values above the standard and there were 4 respondents with total protein acquisition below 57 grams. There are several factors that influence the difference in obtaining EAR and PAR, including food supply, income level, nutritional knowledge, and number of family members.
