Abstract
One social media that has the potential to contain bullying comments is YouTube. Youtube users can post or display videos or live streaming and open the comments column. This research aims to reveal the types of cyberbullying contained in the comments column on the @MPLIndonesia account.
This research uses a quantitative approach with content analysis methods. The researcher took the data source for the research obtained through the main data source obtained through live streaming videos on the Youtube account @MPLIndonesia using documentation techniques where there are two categories of types of cyberbullying that will be studied, namely harassment and flaming. Analysis of the content of cyberbullying contained in the comments column on the @MPLIndonesia account can be seen to be grouped into two indicators, namely harassment and flaming.
The recapitulation results showed that the harassment indicators in the @MPLIndonesia account comments amounted to 16 items consisting of 16 messages in the harassment category with a percentage of 43.75%, namely the use of impolite words and 9 items included in the inciting category with a percentage of 56.25%. . The results of the flaming indicator amounted to 103 items consisting of three flaming categories with a percentage of 16.50% with a total frequency of 17, namely regarding harsh words, 31 items or 30.09% regarding the frontal category and 55 items with a percentage of 53. 40% regarding the vulgar category. The results of the comparison of the appearance of commentators on the @MPLIndonesia account which includes harassment and flaming can be seen that the highest percentage is regarding vulgarity with a large percentage of 46.22% or with a frequency of 55 and the lowest is regarding impolite words in the measurement unit of harassment which is 7 or 5.88% and flaming, namely the unit of measurement for harsh words, namely 17 or 14.29%.
