Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the development of interactive teaching materials for grade 4 elementary school This is because in grade 4 of Muhammadiyah 8 KH Mas Mansur Agung Elementary School, students are easily bored, lack of understanding and lack of interest in learning materials because the media and monotonous learning are only fixated on books. Based on the needs analysis at SDN Dingil 3, teaching materials are needed to support learning, especially in the material on the nature of integer counting operations. This aims to make it easier for students to understand the material and motivate students to take part in learning.

This research uses the ADDIE research and development model. (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects of this research were 4th grade students of Muhammadiyah 8 KH Mas Mansur Agung elementary school. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. While this research instrument uses observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and questionnaire guidelines. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.

The development of interactive teaching materials for grade 4 elementary school students obtained material validation results of 96% and media validation results of 84% in the category of very valid to be implemented. While the student response questionnaire received a score of 84% and the teacher questionnaire results of 92% were in the very good category. This means that the media developed is very interesting. With the development of interactive teaching materials, students become more active and help interaction between students become more active because the media can be used by learning while playing.
