Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis of students at SD Negeri Soko V, it was found that class V students were active students, but they easily got bored if they only used teaching materials during the learning process. The teaching materials used in Indonesian language lessons for class V elementary school are student books and LKPD. Developing teaching materials that can be used interactively requires innovation, one of which is the Pop Up Book model. This Pop Up Book is also equipped with attractive colors and is appropriate for the age of elementary school children. Pop Up Books also provide complete material that is easy for students to understand. Apart from that, this Pop Up Book teaching material also provides practice questions regarding fact and opinion sentences so that students understand the material better. This Pop Up Book will also be equipped with a Qr-Code which contains learning videos about sentences of facts and opinions
The aim of the research is to produce Pop Up Book Facts and Opinions products for Class V Indonesian subjects. This type of research uses the ADDIE model with analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at SDN 2 Soko.
Making this Pop Up Book teaching material uses art paper and is in 3-dimensional form in the form of images that match the Facts and Opinions material. The way to read a Poop Up Book is by students opening the book, then reading the instructions, students reading examples by opening cards, students playing with facts and opinions through pictures, students writing report texts, students reading facts and opinions at school and then students practicing questions. The steps for learning using a Pop Up Book are that the teacher provides an explanation of fact and opinion sentences, students are formed into 3 groups, each group is given a Pop Up Book, students practice using the Pop Up Book together with the group with teacher guidance, students answer the exercises questions, then students make a presentation in front of the class. Material validation test results were 87.5% and teaching material experts 80.55%. As well as the response to use by students was 100% which was shown by students reading and practicing doing questions in the Pop Up Book and a teacher response of 92.5% was obtained when the teacher made observations regarding the use of Pop Up Books by class V. So it can be concluded that the Pop Up Book media is effective and suitable for use in learning Indonesian Facts and Opinions material in class V elementary school.
