Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the development of interactive video media ipas (vipas) on magnetic material in class V elementary school. This was done because in class V at SDN Tunjungsekar 2, students seemed less active and easily bored when learning in class, especially science lessons. Based on the needs analysis at SDN Tunjungsekar 2, learning media is needed that can increase student enthusiasm and activity, especially in science and science lessons. This aims to make it easier for students to understand the material and be more active in participating in learning.
This research uses the ADDIE research and development model which consists of five stages, namely analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The subjects of this research were 18 class V students at SDN Tunjungsekar 2. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Meanwhile, this research instrument uses observation guidelines, interview guidelines and questionnaire guidelines. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.
IPAS Interactive Video Media Development (VIPAS) obtained material validation results of 90% and media validation results of 88%. Both validations are included in the very valid category for implementation. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire received a score of 92% and the teacher questionnaire results were 100%. From both questionnaires, the responses were in the very good category. This can mean that the development of IPAS Interactive Video Media (VIPAS) can attract students' attention and can increase understanding of magnetic material. However, there is a drawback, namely that the media that has been developed can only be accessed via computers and laptops. Apart from that, the material used in the media is only magnetic material. It is hoped that the VIPAS media is designed to be used for a wider range of material and that this media can be utilized and refined in further research.
