Abstract
Content Management System (CMS) is an application or platform for users to create, edit, manage content and carry out development on a website. The role of Content Management System (CMS) helps to manage, edit, and publish website content. CMS works to help in web content management. Website content is stored in the Database Management System. Database processing requires coding codes that not everyone knows. The important role of CMS is helping in optimizing all kinds of problems on the website.
The Management System in a website content is an illustration of whether a website is running well or not. There are many things needed to manage a website better. Database system storage, provision of features in content, distribution of content are also characteristics of every website.
In carrying out the practice, the writer and editorial team use Google Forms to conduct target audience surveys, website displays, social media displays, and even writing news stories. The author also conducted content research on several competitor websites to create an overview of a good content management process or system. The editorial team also conducted interviews with several journalists to get references in writing correct news.
In practice, applying the Content Management System collaborates with visual editors to create good and attractive website designs, provides features that help script editors in the news editing process, solves several problems with error pages on websites, enables user-friendly website displays, and has an important role in increasing website efficiency.
