Abstract

Based on the results of the analysis, fifth grade students at SDN Tlekung 01 still have difficulty understanding the topic related to the diversity of flora and fauna in Indonesia. Based on this, the researcher developed a digital-based Flora Fauna Barcode media that is appropriate with the student’s need. The goals of this study is to produce digital-based Barcode Flora Fauna media products for the fifth grade science subjects in elementary schools.
This type of research uses the ADDIE model which consists of several steps, including; analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive data and quantitative data analysis.
The results of the development of digital-based Barcode Flora Fauna media on the diversity of flora and fauna in Indonesia showed a percentage of assessment by material experts of 87.5%, the percentage of assessment by media experts was 89% which stated that the material and media were suitable for implementation. Meanwhile, the teacher's response to the Barcode Flora Fauna media was 100% and the student's response was 92%. Based on the results obtained, it shows that the development of digital-based Flora Fauna Barcode media is feasible to use and can support the learning process of fifth grade students in elementary schools. However, this study still has shortcomings so that innovation and creativity are needed from further researchers.
