The phenomenon that occurred in this case study was Mrs. H, 62 years old, is a housewife who has suffered from hypertension for approximately 4 years. The hypertension he suffers from often recurs, with his last blood pressure being 160/90. From the results of research studies, data was obtained that the patient had a history of poor health, including obesity and a lifestyle that rarely involved physical activity such as sports. to find out the family's experience in caring for hypertension sufferers. In this case study, researchers used observation, documentation and triangulation interview techniques. When conducting interviews, researchers not only ask questions, but also gather other people's life experiences and use flexible and structured interview techniques. The interview guideline is to make a list of questions that will be asked to participants and then record them using a voice recorder. Based on data analysis, researchers found 3 themes related to family experiences in caring for family members with hypertension. The themes raised were 1) Psychological disorders 2) Eating disorders 3) Family support. The family plays a very important role in caring for family members who suffer from hypertension, where their role is very much needed to help provide nursing care. Not only does it require family support, but it also requires psychological support for patients during the recovery period from hypertension. Patients suffering from hypertension often experience complaints of dizziness and have poor activity patterns. Therefore Mrs. U and Mr. S plays a very important role in supporting or motivating families who suffer from hypertension. including helping to remind you to always take your medication, taking you to the nearest midwife to check your blood pressure. Therefore, the assessment of hypertensive patients is partially resolved.
