This research on the development of comic strip media is based on the problems found at SDN Sebungsu 01 in class IV, namely that learning media is still limited, they still only use minimal media, so the teaching and learning process is less active. This research aims to: 1) Develop comic media pieces with the theme of the area where I live, sub-theme of the uniqueness of the area where I live in class IV elementary school. 2) Knowing the attractiveness of comic media pieces with the theme of the area where I live, sub-theme of the uniqueness of the area where I live in class IVS in elementary school.

The results of the development of the Comic Pieces media obtained a percentage of learning material validation scores of 75% and media validation of 75% with very good criteria in accordance with the recommendations. The students' response to the comic strip media was very interesting as evidenced by the average student response questionnaire results of 90%. The class teacher also received a positive response to the Comic Cut media in thematic learning Theme of the Region Where I Live, Subtheme, Uniqueness of the Region Where I Live, this is proven by the teacher's response questionnaire obtaining a score of 93%. Product suggestions that have been developed for teachers to teach on the theme of the area where I live, subtheme, uniqueness of the area where I live.
