Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education
learning through multi-methods and describe the various methods used at SMPN 2 Waru
Sidoarjo. The approach used in this study uses qualitative with a case study type, and is
located in a housing complex area, Jl. Raya Kepuh Permai. Jl. Lawu, Payunan,
Kepuhkiriman, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java 61256. The data sources determined are
primary and secondary. The data source techniques used are interviews, observations, and
documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data condensation, data
presentation and drawing conclusions. The data validity test uses triangulation.
The results of the study show that, in the implementation of Islamic Religious
Education learning for class VII A there are three stages, namely: Opening lessons, core
activities, and closing lessons. In core activities, the lecture method is used to explain the
meaning of prayer and dhikr along with its arguments, the demonstration method is used
to provide an overview of the procedures for good and correct prayer, and the discussion
method is used to make students active in accordance with the objectives of the
independent curriculum
