Abstract
In the current era of globalization, the role of technology is growing very rapidly and is increasingly penetrating into various elements, one of which is education. Nowadays technology and education are closely related, because with the help of technology education will be more effective and efficient.But in reality there are still some schools that have not utilized education and technology to the fullest.The concepts of science learning materials are abstract so that the use of video media can be used as one of the solutions to these problems.This thesis discusses the analysis of the use of animated video media in learning science grade 6 elementary school. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of animated video media in 6th grade science learning.
This research uses a qualitative model of case study conducted at SDN Wonotirto 3. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The subjects in this study were grade 6 teachers at SDN Wonotirto 3.
The results of this study indicate that the use of this animated video media will provide positive things to students. The use of animated video media can also provide fun things while learning for students, at the beginning of learning students to find their own problems in the material being taught. Students are assigned to explore the material first before then being given examples through animated video media shows to help students understand the abstract concept.
