Abstract
The results of this research indicate that PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Malang Sutoyo Branch Office has clear and structured procedures for identifying, collecting, verifying data and evaluating potential consumer credit customers. This process is based on the 5C principle, namely Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral and Condition. From this research shows that PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Malang Sutoyo Branch Office has implemented good credit risk management in the process of providing consumer credit. Consistent application of the 5C principles helps PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Malang Sutoyo Branch Office in minimizing the risk of problematic credit. This research uses primary data sources obtained through in-depth interviews based on purposive sampling which aims to help collect data accurately.
