Abstract
This study aims to explore and analyze the process of political education enculturation in fostering critical thinking skills among intra-campus student organizations at the Faculty of Education, Muhammadiyah University of Malang.
The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods using observation, interviews, and document analysis as data collection methods.
The results show that the process of political education enculturation plays a crucial role in developing the critical thinking skills of student organization members. Through active participation in discussions, debates, and other political activities, student organization members are able to sharpen their abilities to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate various political and social issues relevant to the campus and society. Additionally, it was found that factors such as social environment, organizational norms, and adequate leadership also contribute to strengthening the process of political education enculturation. The implication of this research is the need for greater attention to the role of student organizations as agents of political education enculturation that can shape critical and active thinking in society.
