Abstract

This research aims to understand the strategies used in the process of memorizing the Qur'an through the dauroh class program at Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School in Dau Malang. The objective of this research is to gain deep insights into how students apply these strategies in memorizing the Qur'an and to observe their impact on their success in memorizing and understanding the content of the Qur'an.
The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study research design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to the dauroh class program at Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School.
The results of the research show that the dauroh class program at Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School in Dau Malang uses several effective strategies to help students memorize the Qur'an. These strategies include overcoming students' mental blocks, teaching and guiding students through the stages of memorizing the Qur'an, as well as teaching and guiding students on the recitation system. Additionally, the educational environment supported by discipline, strict supervision, and religious values also play a significant role in students' success in memorizing the Qur'an.
In conclusion, this research concludes that the dauroh class program at Ar-Rohmah Putri Islamic Boarding School in Dau Malang is effective in implementing strategies for memorizing the Qur'an. This research provides a better understanding of the strategies that can be used in the context of Islamic education to assist students in memorizing and understanding the content of the Qur'an. The implications of this research can be used as a guideline for Islamic educational institutions in designing effective programs for memorizing the Qur'an.
