Abstract

In building or construction projects, there is a very high potential for danger. Several facts show that there are still many minor scale work accidents occurring in the Jember Lung Hospital New Building construction project. Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Program is very important because it aims to create a safe, comfortable, clean and orderly work environment. This research focuses on the analysis of the Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management System (SMK3L) on Work Performance in the Jember Lung Hospital New Building Construction Project. The aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of K3 training, occupational health, and other factors on job performance, as well as identify the most dominant factors in job performance on the project. This research methodology uses a quantitative approach. The research population consisted of 140 workers, including security guards, foremen, K3 staff, technical staff, workers and supervisory consultants. The Slovin technique was used to determine the sample, resulting in 59 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data from the questionnaire was processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 27 and Microsoft Excel programs. The research results show that the variable (X1) of K3L implementation has a significant positive influence of 0.375, with T count (2.160) greater than T table (3.390), and a percentage score of 88.61%. The variable (X2) work environment shows a significance of 0.944, with T count (3.371) greater than T table (2.160), and a percentage score of 90.67%. The variable (X3) labor also has a significance of 0.003, with a T table (2.160) greater than the calculated T (3.165), and a percentage score of 88.74%. This means that each variable has a positive and significant influence on worker performance, with the work environment variable (X2) as the dominant factor with a percentage score of 88.43%.88.43%.
