Abstract
This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Small Group Learning method in improving student learning outcomes in the Aqidah Akhlak subject at YIMI Gresik Middle School. The background to this research is the school's efforts to improve the quality of learning through the application of methods that involve interaction and collaboration in small groups. The research method used is a qualitative approach with classroom action research. Data was collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as analysis of documentation of student learning outcomes. The research results show that the application of the Small Group Learning method has a positive impact on student learning outcomes, marked by increased understanding of the material, active student participation, and an increase in the final score in the Aqidah Akhlak subject. These findings indicate that Small Group Learning can be an effective strategy in improving student learning outcomes and can be implemented in other subjects at school. This research is expected to provide insight for educators and policy makers in designing more effective learning methods.
