Abstract
Education has a very important role in life. With education, humans can continue to develop according to the times. The educational process requires good methods and techniques. So, educational goals can be achieved optimally. The large number of learning processes that are less effective means that educational goals cannot be achieved optimally. Mastery of material and problem solving abilities are very important aspects. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the learning process using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model assisted by modules on Pola Bilangan material. The subjects used in this research were 36 students from SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang. Classroom learning is the beginning of research for class VIII D students. Learning is carried out in groups using modules to hold discussions together. The results of learning Pola Bilangan using the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model can be seen effectively from student activity, students' problem solving abilities during the learning process and the results of the tests given.
