Abstract

This study was made to determine the role in motivation, work discipline and leadership style in improving employee performance. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects in this study amounted to 3 informants using the purposive sampling interview method with phenomenological data analysis. The results showed that (1) the role of motivation in improving employee performance is still not maximal, because employees still need attention and motivation from a leader; (2) the role of work discipline in improving employee performance has shown quite good results, because it has begun to be consistent in implementing SOPs and Key Performance Indicators; (3) The role of leadership style in improving employee performance has not been maximized, because the leader is less consistent with the distribution of tasks given by each division. The results of this study can improve employee performance to be more structured so as to produce good, efficient and effective performance.
