Abstract

Phenomenon to become creative is a demand in the world globalization. Creativity is an ability to think about something using new way that can create new solution and unique way to solve problems. One of the methods to developing creativity is origami. Origami is an paper folding art originally from Japan. For, trainer, origami can be motivated, creativity, capability, diligently. Beside that origami can be used to grow soft motorist. To know is this test can be used like any other test, so in this research this test was correlated with Round Figural Creativity Test from Torrance. The point is to get external validity from Performance Creativity Test Using Origami for children between 6 – 7. This research using descriptive quantity methods and the sampling using purpose sampling methods. Population used in this research are children between 6 – 7, with 102 children from 5 different elementary school (SDN Percobaan 1 Malang, SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, SDN Sumbersari 3 Malang, SDN Tunjung Sekar, TK Aisyah 33). Reliability in this research is α = 0,8052, that means this test having appropriate result between research and reality. From the measuring of the validity, r measured = 0,428 index sig < 0,01. With that result we can form that there is relation between performance creativity test using origami with round figural creativity.
