Everyone wants to avoid the various forms of stress. Forms stress reaction that can be experienced by individuals, namely: physical reactions, emotional reactions, intellectual reactions, and interpersonal reactions. In this case, therapy is used ruqyah as a method to reduce stress on the client's reaction. The purpose of this study is to know whether there are differences between pre-and stress reactions after therapy to clients in the Clinic ruqyah Ruqyah Surabaya. The study was a pre-experimental research, using one group pre and post test design without a control group. Whereas approach used is quantitative approach. Data collection for research using this questionnaire took place in the range period April 2007 to May 2007. The population is the clients who come to Clinic Ruqyah Surabaya. Taking the sample by taking clients ruqyah therapy at the clinic who have signed up for 2 days, and the sample of 32 people with ages between 20-40 years. Collecting data in this study uses a stress reaction scale. While the data analysis method used is the same sample t test. The results showed that the mean pretest score of the client before ruqyah therapy at 60.03 after undergoing therapy while ruqyah showed a decrease of the mean posttest score of 43.63. If the t count> t table then Ho is rejected, and obtained 19.451 t count> t table with a value of 1.79 probability of 0.000 (sig <0.050) so that Ho refused. The above items indicates that there are differences in stress reactions between the client a significant before and after therapy ruqyah, where clients proven stress reaction ruqyah decreased after therapy. From the table can be seen t = 19.451 with significance value 0.000 (sig <0.050), indicating that This result is very significant.
